Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 11/2/2026

1. Welcome

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of www.happybookingtravel.com (the "Site") and to any travel planning or booking services you request from Happy Booking Travel Company ("Happy Booking Travel," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, subscribing to our newsletter, or asking us to plan or book travel, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or our services. You must be at least 18 years old to book travel with us or subscribe to our emails.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site or our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Our role as your travel agent

We are a travel agency. We plan and book private trips, small-group travel, celebration and milestone trips, and cruises on your behalf. We do not own or operate any cruise line, airline, hotel, resort, tour operator, transfer company, or other travel provider (each a "Supplier").

When we make a booking for you, your contract for that travel is with the Supplier, such as Virgin Voyages or another cruise line, a hotel, or an airline. Each Supplier has its own terms, including payment schedules, cancellation penalties, change fees, and liability limits. Those terms apply to your booking, and we'll point you to them or share them with you before you book. By booking through us, you agree to the Supplier's terms.

We are not responsible for what Suppliers do or fail to do, including schedule changes, itinerary or port changes, overbooking, delays, cancellations, the quality of their services, or their financial failure. We will always do our best to help you if something goes wrong.

3. Quotes, bookings, and payments

Quotes and availability. Prices, availability, and promotions are set by Suppliers and can change until your booking is confirmed and paid as required. A quote from us is not a guarantee. Prices on the Site or in our Journal and newsletter are examples only unless we confirm them in writing.

Confirming a booking. A booking is confirmed only when the Supplier accepts it and you have paid any required deposit. Please review your confirmation and documents as soon as you receive them and tell us right away about any errors, especially names, dates, and cabin or room details. Names must match your passport or government ID exactly.

Deposits and final payments. Deposits, final payment due dates, and payment amounts follow the Supplier's schedule, which we'll share with you. If a payment is late, the Supplier may cancel your booking and keep your deposit or charge penalties. You are responsible for any amounts the Supplier charges.

Our fees. If we charge a planning, service, or change fee, we'll tell you the amount before you commit. Our fees are non-refundable unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Payment authorization. By giving us your card or payment details, you authorize us and the Supplier to charge the amounts you've agreed to. Payments may be processed directly by the Supplier, and the charge may appear under the Supplier's name.

Changes and cancellations by you. Any change or cancellation must come to us in writing, by email. Supplier penalties apply and can be up to 100% of the trip cost, depending on timing. Refunds, when available, are issued according to the Supplier's terms and timeline. We can't refund money a Supplier won't return.

Changes and cancellations by Suppliers. Suppliers may change itineraries, ports, times, accommodations, or prices, or cancel travel. Your remedy is what the Supplier offers under its terms. We'll help you understand your options and rebook where we can.

4. Your travel responsibilities

Travel documents. You are responsible for having a valid passport, any required visas, and other entry documents for every traveler, and for meeting each country's entry, exit, and transit rules. Many destinations require a passport valid for at least six months after your return. Any information we share about documents is general guidance only. Please confirm requirements with the relevant government or embassy. If you are denied boarding or entry, Supplier cancellation terms apply.

Health and safety. You are responsible for any required vaccines, health documents, and medical clearances, and for deciding whether a trip suits your health and mobility. Please tell us before booking about any medical needs, accessibility needs, dietary restrictions, or pregnancy, since Suppliers may have restrictions. We recommend checking the U.S. State Department's travel advisories for your destination.

Travel insurance. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation, medical, and medical evacuation coverage. Many health plans don't cover you outside the U.S. or at sea. If you decline insurance, you accept the financial risk of cancellations, medical costs, and other losses. Insurance is provided by the insurer under its own policy terms, not by us.

Conduct. Suppliers may remove travelers who break their rules or put others at risk, without refund. You are responsible for any damage or costs you cause.

Group travel. For small-group trips and celebrations, the person who books or organizes the group is responsible for sharing these Terms and all trip details with every traveler in the group, and for collecting and submitting each traveler's payments and information on time. Group bookings may have their own deposit, payment, name-change, and cancellation terms, which we'll provide in writing. A group trip may be canceled or repriced if the minimum number of travelers isn't met.

5. Using our Site

Information on the Site. Our Curated Travel pages, Journal posts, checklists, and newsletter share ideas, experiences, and general travel information. They are not professional, legal, medical, or immigration advice. Details such as prices, menus, amenities, ship features, and entry rules change often, so please confirm anything important with us before you rely on it. Experiences described in our Journal and in client stories are personal and won't be the same for every traveler.

Newsletter and emails. Our email newsletter and marketing emails are covered in Section 6 below.

What you send us. If you submit a booking request, contact form, comment, review, or photo, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You give us permission to use reviews and photos you send us on our Site, in our newsletter, and on social media, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.

Acceptable use. Please don't misuse the Site. That includes trying to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how it works, sending spam or harmful code, scraping content, or using the Site for anything unlawful.

Our content. The text, photos, logos, and design of the Site belong to Happy Booking Travel or are used with permission. You're welcome to share links to our pages and Journal posts. Please don't copy, republish, or sell our content without our written permission. Supplier names and logos belong to their owners.

Links to other sites. The Site may link to Supplier and other third-party websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

Privacy. We respect your privacy. We use the personal information you share with us to plan and book your travel, communicate with you, and send our newsletter if you subscribe. To make your bookings, we share the necessary details with Suppliers and, where required, with government authorities. We do not sell your personal information. [If you publish a separate Privacy Policy, replace this paragraph with: "Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information." and link to it.]

6. Email marketing

Signing up. When you subscribe to our newsletter on the Site, sign up at an event, or check a box to receive emails when you contact or book with us, you agree to receive marketing emails from Happy Booking Travel. You must be at least 18 to subscribe, and you confirm that the email address you give us is yours.

What we send. Our emails share travel ideas, trip and cruise offers, group trip announcements, Journal posts, and news about our services. We may also send emails about your bookings, such as confirmations, payment reminders, and travel documents. Those booking emails are part of our service, and you'll keep getting them while you have an active booking even if you unsubscribe from marketing.

Offers in our emails. Prices, promotions, and availability in our emails come from Suppliers, are subject to change, and may have limited capacity or deadlines. An offer isn't confirmed until we confirm your booking in writing. Supplier terms apply to every booking.

Unsubscribing. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing hello@happybookingtravel.com. We'll process your request promptly and within 10 business days. Unsubscribing is free, and we won't ask you for anything other than your email address to do it.

How we send emails. We use Flodesk, a third-party email service, to send our emails and store our subscriber list. Flodesk handles your information under its own terms and privacy policy. Our emails may use standard tools that tell us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, which helps us send content you'll find useful.

Your information. We use your name and email address only to send you our emails and to provide our services. We never sell or rent our email list.

Our email content. Our emails, including their text, photos, and designs, belong to Happy Booking Travel. You're welcome to forward them to friends and family, but please don't republish them or use them commercially without our written permission.

7. Legal terms

Disclaimer. The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep information accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that the Site is error-free, uninterrupted, or complete.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, delay, or expense caused by a Supplier, a third party, weather, natural disasters, health emergencies, strikes, government actions, political unrest, or other events outside our control. We are also not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If we are found responsible for any loss, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid directly to Happy Booking Travel for the booking in question.

Indemnity. You agree to cover any claims, costs, or losses we face because you broke these Terms, gave us inaccurate information, or misused the Site.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Florida, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

Seller of Travel. Happy Booking Travel Company's registration with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel is pending. We will post our registration number here once it is issued.
